Meeting Topic:
“Repack – Re-use or Replace ?”
This presentation will review most major components of a transmitter’s RF system, its coaxial transmission line and antennas and their suitability for use at a new channel. It also will cover practical solutions for temporary transmission facilities and some of the logistics required for antenna and transmitter replacement.
About the presenter:
Daniel S. Fallon has been with Dielectric for six years as a Senior RF Engineer. Prior to that he was with the Passive Power Products division of Electronics Research Inc. for nine years. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in radar systems and satellite hardware. Daniel holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a BSEE from Clarkson University.
