Dear AFCCE Full and Associate Members,
Below are links to the biographical profiles of the candidates and the official Ballot.
Please read carefully the following instructions for filling out and returning the ballot:
The Ballot is a fillable PDF on which you can register your vote selections using your Adobe Reader by clicking the box next to the candidate of your choice (a check mark will appear – click again to remove the check if needed) or typing the name of a “write-in” candidate. If you feel more comfortable filling out the ballot by hand, or if the fillable PDF for some reason doesn’t work for you, you can print the blank ballot on a printer and mark your votes on the ballot you printed.
You have the choice of: 1) printing your completed ballot and regular-mailing it to the Secretary at the mailing address on the ballot, 2) scanning your paper ballot and emailing it to the Secretary at the email address shown on the ballot, or 3) emailing your filled-out electronic ballot directly from your computer. Options 2 and 3 are preferred since delivery is instantaneous.
If you opt for Option 3, when you save your completed ballot to a file to attach to the email, you are strongly encouraged to do so by using the “File > Print > Adobe PDF” function from Adobe Reader, if your operating system supports that function. If you instead use the “File > Save as..” function, the PDF will still be in the fillable form mode which will leave the ballot vulnerable to accidental changes. Using the “File > Print” function and selecting Abode PDF as your printer will lock down your ballot and prevent it from being changed.
Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions about the voting process as I’ve described. If contacting me by email, please use my email address below; do not hit “reply”, as doing so will not reach me.
