The 72nd AFCCE Annual Meeting will take place in Toronto, June 25 through June 27. A Thursday afternoon tour of the CBC Broadcast Center will kick off the event, followed by an evening reception. Saturday will end the event with the traditional evening dinner banquet. Friday will include a tour of the CN Tower followed by the business meetings. Register online for the AFCCE event using the form at the bottom of this page. Cost remains the same for 2020 (Members $375, guests $275 (USD)).
Please note that each person will need a Passport to enter Canada. Passports can take up to 6 weeks to obtain/renew, so please keep this in mind when planning your trip.
Airline flights should be made into either Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) or Billy Bishop City Airport (YTZ). The former is a 35-min train ride into town while the latter is in town, but has limited carriers).
One King West is the official hotel AFCCE has contracted with for lodging and is also the venue for the Thursday reception and Friday business meetings. A former historic bank converted to a boutique hotel, it is located in the center of Toronto’s downtown core and connected to the PATH system, the largest underground shopping complex in the world.
AFCCE has negotiated a special hotel rate of $279 Canadian per night ($212 USD per exchange rate on 1/30).
Please note that all guestrooms are non-smoking with one King Bed. Optional Double Beds can also be accommodated by request. Valet parking is available for $49 per night. The AFCCE registration and hotel booking deadline for the Annual Meeting is April 30.
