Last call for the 2014 Annual Meeting

Dear AFCCE member,

As the Annual Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia is now barely over a month away, this is your last chance to guarantee your room at the Prince George Hotel, in the block of rooms that we’ve reserved.

You must book your room by this weekend, because after this weekend, the unbooked rooms in the block will be released to the general public. Also, please register for the event itself as soon as possible, either on the AFCCE website, or using the registration sheet attached to the brochure.

You must contact the hotel directly to reserve a room, either by calling them at 1-800-565-1567  (please identify yourself as being with the AFCCE), or online at www.princegeorgehotel.com.  In either case, use the group code 38598 to receive the special group rate.

Our organized activity on Friday will be a tour of the Nautel Transmitter manufacturing plant in Hacketts Cove, Nova Scotia.

Remember that you need a passport to travel to Canada, so make sure your passports are up to date.

You can register for the event either by filling out the registration sheet (the last page of the attachment) and mailing it with a check, or by going on the AFCCE website events registration page at https://afcce.org/events/.  You may either pay online at the same time you register on the website, or send a check to me at my office address at the bottom of this email.

Currently, the online registration and payment system is set up only to register either Member(s) Only ($350 each), or 1 Member and 1 Guest ($600). For all other registration arrangements, please use the mail-in form. If you register yourself and one guest for the meeting with the online system, DO NOT enter your guest as an attendee, as this will increase your fees to $1,200 instead of $600.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Best,

Ben Evans
